Due to the unique challenges of the Miami FL climate, hurricane resistance was of primary importance when the Miami Data Center was designed and built. With 38,000 square feet of enclosed space, this Category 5 rated facility is designed to withstand flood damage and carries a wind rating of 185 mph. State-of-the-art infrastructure and power connections make the Miami Data Center an attractive option for Hybrid Colocation Services.

A secure home for customers with South American, Caribbean and other International networking and infrastructure needs, the Miami Data center it is located in a low risk flood area (Flood Zone X) 10 feet above the 500 year floodplain and is designed to withstand flood damage. The data center is strategically located in the heart of Miami’s priority power grid.

Utility power totaling 2MWs campus critical power capacity is provided via dual power feeds to two independent electrical transformers.  Moreover, on-site diesel fuel will enable the facility to run for 25 days without utility power.

The facility is Carrier-neutral and provides access to multiple providers for local, fiber and Internet connectivity.  It has a convenient location 15 minutes from Miami International Airport and several major highways. The Miami Data Center boasts diverse connectivity options including major SDN providers and proximity to multiple subsea cable landings with all critical infrastructure located inside the building.  The facility is only half a mile from NAP of the Americas –telecom gateway to Latin America.
